Who we are and what do we do?
EU-INSIT is a scientific institute whose goal is to develop and disseminate knowledge on innovative technologies. The institute conducts research through its network of members delivering cutting edge findings both to the network and clients who commission its consultancy services. Typical projects include:
- Feasibility studies
- Research in the areas of wireless / mobile and security technologies
- Software design and development
- System Integration
- Testing and Prototyping
The institute’s membership is a mix of academic experts at the forefront in their fields combined with the hands on experience of industry experts. This uniquely flexible and global team allows the institute to deliver high calibre projects that can meet the needs of clients from SMEs to global corporations.
EU-INSIT collaborates with key leading research institutions and industry leaders, legislative / regulatory bodies and non profit organisations to address a variety of advanced communications research topics and related innovative technology applications. We particularly focus on the wireless / mobile and new technology fields. The output of these activities results in published research and timely technical and advisory reports.
Internationally, EU-INSIT collaborates with the European Union Information Society Directorate, the British Computer Society, Georgia Institute of Technology and the Global Wireless Education Consortium, amongst others.
